Thanks for wanting good meat and eggs from our farm!
Our six month shares start in April and October each year.
Sometimes we have enough extra for folks to start midway through shares.
If you want to sign up mid-way through a share, email us! We'll double check our inventory and offer a pro-rated option.
Expect us to follow up with you to confirm that we have the shares you want, and to send details about payment.

Nightfall Farm CSA Membership Agreement
Our CSA Member Agreement lets us all get on the same page. We want to make sure that we all understand what the CSA entails, what you're agreeing to, and what we are agreeing to. Here are the details:
Our monthly Meat CSA is the cornerstone of Nightfall Farm. CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture, and the idea is that the CSA benefits the farm and the CSA members. The CSA benefits the farm because you pay upfront (which provides operating capital) and we have a known customer base (which lets us plan for the year). The CSA benefits members because you have a regular supply of pasture-raised meat, you receive the best meat prices, and you have access to special events. Most importantly, when you join Nightfall Farm, you are investing in the farming practices you believe in: a farm that’s striving to care for the land, raise happy animals, and sell healthy food to Hoosiers.
CSA Shares and Pick-up: CSA shares can include any of the meat we raise: chicken, pork, turkey, lamb, and eggs. We deliver our CSA shares to established pick-up sites once each month.
You are responsible for picking up your share each month, within the scheduled time frame.
If you cannot pick-up your share:
Please let us know if you cannot come to pickup. You can arrange for someone else to pick up your share for you. You are responsible for explaining the pick-up location and procedures to your substitute.
Food Safety: We ensure that your food is safe, from how we raise our animals to processing and storage. Your meat shares will come frozen. Please plan to put your meat share products in a refrigerator or freezer as soon as possible after pick-up.
Payment Details: We count on your membership payments to cover our costs during the production season. However, we understand that the upfront cost of membership may be a barrier. Please contact us and we can work together to make arrangements for paying in installments. If you need to cancel your share at any time, we offer a pro-rated refund, minus a service fee of $20.
Communicating with You: We will communicate with you primarily via email. Every month, we will email friendly reminder about your upcoming CSA pickup (and a little update about the farm). We may also send important information such as necessary changes to your distribution schedule or invitation to our farm events.
Communicating with Us: The best way to communicate with us is via email. Our email address is [email protected]. You can also reach us by phone (below). Please let us know about changes to your postal or email address, changes to your drop-site location, problems with your drop-site, or dissatisfaction with your share.

- If no one can pick up your shares during the pick-up time, we can “carry forward” your meat shares (we give you your share the following month).
- Please note on Egg Shares: We cannot carry forward egg shares. If you miss a month and no one can come in your stead, you simply miss that month's share. Unlike meat (which just goes back in the freezer), eggs are perishable and so we cannot keep them for you from one month to the next.
- Also: Any shares that are “left over” at the end of your six month share cannot be carried over into the next six month share. We have to keep everyone on the same cycle of starting and ending their shares. Thanks for understanding!
Food Safety: We ensure that your food is safe, from how we raise our animals to processing and storage. Your meat shares will come frozen. Please plan to put your meat share products in a refrigerator or freezer as soon as possible after pick-up.
